- To Know the Sun’s Gold
Not a song, but a piece of improvisation, the first on my then-new Tanglewood acoustic-electric. This is when I realised that no 2 recordings can ever be the same, or even similar. I’ve tried to replicate this, depth etc, but don’t think I’ve been able to, despite a 2010 version, which is more subdued. I guess I was just younger and more excited about possibilities. Ive added some reverb and shortened it, but that’s it. Nothing amazing maybe, but it still shines to me, so I like it. - Riders
